Tech Learning CommunityWe are a CTA sponsored educational community that hopes to foster technology use in and out of the classroom in support of the California State Standards. Our goal is to provide professional development, resources, and a network of teachers to connect and discuss technology and Common Core.

What is the Tech Learning Community?
The TLC project is a joint effort that came about through the CTA Teacher Leadership Cohort. This website and the professional development offered is a collaborative effort between CTA, Tracy Educator's Association (TEA), and Oakdale Teacher's Association (OTA). Since we started this project, we have hopefully inspired more teachers to connect and participate with us as we engage teachers across our school districts in discussion about technology and the new California Common Core Standards (CCSS).
The first leadership cohort was put together by CTA as part of a grant from NEA in order to bring together teacher leaders from across the state in an effort to revitalize our profession. Twenty-four teachers were selected to participate in this program and are expected to complete a project that will be shared and reviewed by other educators in California and/or beyond.
We are excited to broaden our personal learning network and share this endeavor with educators in our local chapters and eventually with teachers across the state.
